PROPHETIC WORD FOR CAPE TOWN by CINDY JACOBS released on 16 September 2006:
The Prophetic Word: “ I just had a vision and the Lord says I have given this a name of Cape Town, not only because it is a geographical position in the cape but the Lord says I am giving a new mantle upon Cape Town, a Joseph Mantle. I am giving a new mantle of My authority says the Lord. And the Lord says I am literally putting this cape, this mantle of authority upon the churches, the intercessors, the business leaders and the government of Cape Town. I am going to shift the government says the Lord! I am even now overthrowing systems that have been put in place and even mindsets from Apartheid times, says the Lord.
What satan did in the great divide, I am going to bring together red, yellow, white, brown and black and I am going to bring together what they called the coloureds and the blacks and the whites…and God says I am doing a new thing that you cannot imagine.
The Lord says even in those black townships, I am coming to overthrow the spirit of poverty, the spirit of lack, the spirit of tradition. I see God erasing borders. The Lord says that even into economic systems… I am going to release economic plans into that region says the Lord. And the Lord says I am going to overthrow poverty, I am going to overthrow the housing problems…there are housing problems, but I am the great architect, the great builder of the universe…I know how to take care of the children, I know how to take care of the poor!
The Lord says…I am going to bring together the east-Asians, the Hispanics, the blacks and the whites…I am going to bring together MY people says the Lord! I am going to bring together the Afrikaner, I will bring it …in fact, the Lord says there is coming a revival into Afrikaans speaking people. I am going to uproot ancient mindsets, I am going to uproot sensationalism, I am going to uproot those who do not believe that I am the God of the miraculous! And the Lord says I have brought the two of you here to take the word back! I am giving you a new mantle says the Lord… there is an anointing to overthrow and there is going to be a supernatural move of God – miracles, signs and wonders.
Cape Town Will be a cancer-free zone, I am coming to establish myself, I am going to overthrow sickness and disease that has entrenched itself…even tropical diseases, diseases of longstanding proportion… Leukaemia will be overthrown! So God says look and see…this region will be known where people run to…and God says I am even rolling the reproach of this region. People say… you don’t want to live in Cape Town…you do not want to go to Cape Town. The Lord says I am going to shift … I am going to shift that thinking…(end of word)
